SKU: BD Category:

Also known as the cajón, this Peruvian percussion instrument can be played by slapping, tapping, or hitting the multiple faces with mallets or other tools. Usually, one would be leaning over the Box Drum or sitting with it between their legs. Sometimes, one might be sitting directly on it. Depending on where you hit it, it can make a wide range of drumming noises, perfect for musicians looking to size down in inventory or don’t know what kind of drum they want to play. Our box drum is made with wood, and has a hole on the lower left side of one of its faces. Around the hole, there are some zentangle designs.
