Cedar wood is good for spiritual protection and the scent can even ward off insects. Lava Stone, typically basalt, is common from areas with volcanic activity. It makes up the ocean floor and anywhere new crust is formed, forged from the interaction of lava within the earth coming to meet the air or water outside.
